At Dentistry of East Hills, our mission has been to provide exceptional dental care while prioritizing the safety of our patients and staff. That mission has never wavered and is only made so much more important in the midst of these extremely challenging times.

 

We value the trust that you have in us and want to reassure you that we comply with, and often exceed, the guidelines for infection control and sterilization put out by the American Dental Association (ADA). The pandemic is an unprecedented situation which requires extraordinary measures. We have been following up with the recommendations and directives of the Center of Disease Control (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), along with New York’s dental board on a daily basis and have implemented all necessary changes to maintain our commitment towards the health and safety of our patients and staff.
 

Some extra measures to ensure your safety are as follows:
 

• Enforcing social distancing by limiting the number of people in the office at a time, by booking appointments further apart.

• Visitors will not be allowed to accompany adult patients unless special assistance is needed.

• All patients, our staff, and doctors will be screened to assess potential coronavirus risks, including taking temperature at the visit.

• Anyone who is coughing, has a fever or shows any other signs of illness will be rescheduled for a later time.

• Continue to wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment with some additional enhancements. All staff will be wearing masks at all times.

• Thoroughly sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment between patients, continuously cleaning throughout the treatment rooms and waiting areas.

• Taking additional steps to ensure safe waterlines.

• HEPA air purifiers and sanitizers in waiting area and each treatment room.
   

We believe the extensive safety precautions we have implemented will continue to allow us to provide the same level of excellent dental care you have come to expect, in a safe and comfortable environment. The more you know about our daily procedures and policies, the more comfortable you will feel not only during these concerning times, but hopefully at all future appointments. Of course, we will continue to monitor the situation and make any appropriate adjustments.
